Armaa Organization is a nonprofit, community-based organization that operates in the cultural, relief and economic empowerment sectors. It was established and officially registered in 2014 under registration number QR-1406-CU with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior. Founded by a group of Palestinian educators and professionals committed to advancing the conditions of the Jerusalemite community across all sectors, the organization focuses especially on children, youth, and women. The name “Armaa” is derived from the plural of the Arabic word “Rami”, meaning “a dense, rain-filled cloud.” We have chosen to be that cloud in the sky of Jerusalem, bringing good to its people. Our aim is to contribute to the development of the Jerusalemite society and the Palestinian society in general. We believe that building society is the first step toward progress and modernization.
